To introduce New York businesses and their products to the Chinese marketplace, the SBDC, with its Chinese partners, opened an exhibition space in Tianjin. This space was dedicated to the long-term display of New York products. This is the first time that such an opportunity has been made available to American busineses. |

With the assistance of the NYS/SBDC, Hydro-Air Components Inc. located in Hamburg, New York, entered into a production agreement in Tianjin Economic Development Zone. Hydro-Air is developing and manufacturing hydro-heating equipment and products targeted to major Chinese markets, including the market for the 2008 Olympics. This will help Hydro-Air substantially expand its manufacturing from Hamburg and grow its New York-based business. |

Levonian Brothers, Inc., a meat processing and packing company based in Troy, New York, has a joint venture agreement with Zhongchen Group Corporation in Liaoning Province. The partnership has built a plant, and is producing high quality, US-branded meat products for the Chinese market. |
